2,000 Census Workers Still Needed In Amarillo Thursday, Mar 11th

Amarillo, Texas - United States Census workers tell us they are still in need of 2,000 workers for part-time work with the 2010 Census. They say the hours are flexible and positions vary. The pay range for local workers is from $8. 00/hr up to $24.

00/hr depending on your position. In order to work for the Census office, you must first complete a short test. A testing event will be held for the public on Tuesday, March 16th at 6:00 at the Region 16 building located at Hillside and Bell St. in Amarillo.

Practice test will be given at 5:30 prior to the event. You will need to bring a photo ID, a Birth Certificate, or a Passport to be eligible. For any additional information, you can go to www. census.
